The Danish Association of Architects is engaged with current policy issues with the aim of ensuring the best conditions for individual architects and the highest quality for our common cities, buildings and environment.
The Danish Association of Architects is represented in a number of political and professional councils and boards, and we have strong international connections including active membership of the ACE (The Architects Council of Europe) and the UIA (International Union of Architects), amongst others.
Policy issues for the Danish Association of Architects
Each year the Council of the Danish Association of Architects selects one issue of particular focus for the following year. A task force is appointed with the responsibility of working towards a policy statement and action plan, and the work is presented to the executive committee who will implement the plan through political initiatives in the following year.
