The competitions department provides professional advice to both public and private developers that wish to run architectural competitions. The competitions department has the only network of professional judges in Denmark and is constantly working on the development and quality assurance of competition forms, progress documentation and participant conditions. Over the years we have been involved in more than 1,500 competitions and have accumulated considerable experience in all stages of architectural competitions. Our involvement can be at a range of scale, from a single stage to the full management of a competition – always in close dialogue with the developer. We guarantee that competitions are held in accordance with recognised norms and standards so that the projects can be completed within the allocated schedule and budget, and to a high quality.
We provide expert guidance on a wide range of competition forms, and we are dedicated to finding the best process and documentation for each individual competition and its particularities.
Dialogue and networking
As the representative body for architects in Denmark, the department works in close dialogue with the profession. Close contact and networking offers us access to the experience of members and the latest knowledge from the field.
Professional architectural assessors
For an architectural competition to be successful, there should be experienced architectural assessors involved in the competition assessment process – we employ experienced and reputable architectural assessors in all our competition assessments.
Options for tender
We help clients choose between different forms of competition and tender process, to ensure the best delivery route for the project. The right process will ensure good conditions for architechts, high quality architecture and optimal conditions for the delivery of the project.
